A perfect gift for any artist or draftsperson that needs a 2mm thick lead for their work and would enjoy a light wood with a lightweight feel. Operates like many mechanical pencils by pushing down on the cap to advance the lead, but cap also pulls out to reveal a sharpener. Just advance the lead out to about 1/2 inch, pull the cap off, insert the lead into its' end and twizzle over a trash can. Then, with the cap back in place, depress and hold to disengage the inner mechanism, while pushing the lead closed. Comes with an extra tube of 5 (2B) leads. It is easiest to thread old/new lead through the point end. Additional lead may be purchased at Artist/hobby supply stores, and are available at many locations in different hardnesses from 4B to 4H.
